Detailed Itinerary
City of origin – CAIRO
Arrival at Cairo International Airport, assistance by our staff, visa processing, transfer to the hotel, and overnight stay.
CAIRO – Excursion to the Giza Pyramids, GEM, and Saqqara – Flight to Luxor (Boarding)
Breakfast. In the morning, scheduled visit to the Giza Pyramids complex of Cheops, Chefren, Mycerinus, and the Sphinx (approx. 3 hours). At lunchtime, we will stop to enjoy a typical menu including delicious grilled chicken skewers with vegetables, hummus, tahini, and Arabic bread, ending with pastries and fruit salad. Continuation to the Saqqara necropolis to see the pyramid of Pharaoh Djoser (the first built in Egypt) and the tomb of the vizier Mehu with its exceptionally well-preserved hieroglyphs. Our last stop will be the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM). At the scheduled time, transfer to the airport to take the flight to Luxor. Arrival, transfer to the boat, cold dinner in the cabin, and overnight stay.
Nile Cruise: Luxor / Esna / Edfu (Full Board)
Full board regime on board. We will cross the Nile to visit the Theban Necropolis: the Valley of the Kings (Tutankhamun's tomb optional), the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut (Deir El Bahari), and the Colossi of Memnon. We will cross to the East Bank to visit the imposing Karnak temple complex (highlighting the hypostyle hall) and the Luxor Temple, both declared UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Return to the cruise, set sail for Esna, cross the lock, and continue navigation towards Edfu. Night on board.
Nile Cruise: Esna / Edfu / Kom Ombo / Aswan (Full Board)
Arrival in Edfu and visit to the Temple of Horus, one of the best-preserved in Egypt. Continuation of navigation to Kom Ombo to visit its double temple dedicated to the gods Sobek and Haroeris. Navigation towards Aswan. Night on board.
Nile Cruise: Aswan / Abu Simbel / Aswan (Full Board)
Early morning departure to the majestic temples of Abu Simbel, built by Ramesses II and Queen Nefertari. In the afternoon, we will enjoy a relaxing ride in a felucca (typical Egyptian sailboat) along the Nile.
Domestic Flight: Aswan – Cairo – Night Tour (Full Board)
Breakfast and disembarkation. Visit to the beautiful Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis on Agilkia Island. At the scheduled time, transfer to Aswan Airport to take the return flight to Cairo. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. At night, we will take a 2-hour tour of the historic center: historic Al-Muizz Street and the grand Khan el-Khalili bazaar. We will make a stop at the iconic El Fishawi Café (the mirrors' café) to enjoy a tea and a traditional shisha. Dinner at a local restaurant and return to the hotel at midnight.
Cairo: Citadel, Coptic Quarter, and Khan el-Khalili (Half Board)
Breakfast. In the morning, visit the Citadel of Saladin and the Mosque of Muhammad Ali (Alabaster Mosque). Lunch at a local restaurant. Continuation to the Coptic Quarter to visit the Hanging Church, the Ben Ezra Synagogue, and the Church of St. Sergius. Free afternoon in the Khan el-Khalili market. Dinner at a local restaurant and transfer to the hotel.
Cairo – Flight to Istanbul
Breakfast, check-out at the scheduled time, and transfer to Cairo International Airport to take the flight to Istanbul. Arrival in Istanbul. Transfer to the hotel and overnight stay.
ISTANBUL – ANKARA – CAPPADOCIA. (BREAKFAST – LUNCH – DINNER) (SUNDAY – THURSDAY)
Breakfast and morning departure towards Ankara passing through the Bolu mountains. In Ankara, visit the Mausoleum of Atatürk. This Mausoleum dedicated to the founder of modern Turkey, Atatürk, was inaugurated in 1953. It is a marble block with 40-ton columns, reached by a long street with lions on its sides, ending in an immense plaza. Lunch at a local restaurant and continuation towards Cappadocia. On the route, we will also visit the Salt Lake. Arrival, dinner, and overnight stay at the hotel.
CAPPADOCIA. (BREAKFAST – LUNCH – DINNER)
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit to this fascinating region with an original landscape, formed by lava thrown out by the Erciyes and Hasan volcanoes 3 million years ago. Visit to the Göreme Valley open-air museum, an incredible Byzantine monastic complex integrated by rock-cut churches with beautiful frescoes. Visit to the Avcilar and Güvercinlik valleys, which feature a spectacular landscape of the so-called Fairy Chimneys. Lunch during the tour at a local restaurant. We will continue with panoramic tours of the valleys of Cappadocia. During the excursion, we will have the opportunity to visit typical carpet, onyx, and turquoise workshops where you can find quality and good prices. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay at a hotel in Cappadocia. (During your stay in Cappadocia, you will have the option to participate in a folk dance show in a typical cave with unlimited regional drinks and take an optional hot air balloon ride at sunrise).
CAPPADOCIA – KONYA – PAMUKKALE. (BREAKFAST – LUNCH – DINNER)
Breakfast and departure for Pamukkale. Along the way, we pass through the plain of Konya, visiting a caravanserai, an ancient type of building that emerged along the main roads where caravans made long journeys lasting many days—for trade, pilgrimage, or military purposes. Lunch at a local restaurant. Afterwards, to Pamukkale, a place where the high limestone concentration of its waters has created one of the most spectacular formations in the world. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel. Note: the visit to Pamukkale (cotton castle) can be done on this day depending on the arrival time.
PAMUKKALE – EPHESUS – IZMIR AREA. (BREAKFAST – LUNCH – DINNER)
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for Hierapolis, an ancient Hellenistic city that is now in ruins. Visit to the famous cotton castle, a natural wonder of gigantic white waterfalls, stalactites, and natural pools formed over the centuries by the passage of waters loaded with calcareous salts from thermal springs. Continuation to Selçuk, center of Ephesus. Excursion: the best-preserved ancient city of Asia Minor during the 1st and 2nd centuries; it had a population of 250,000 and monopolized the wealth of the Middle East. Lunch at a local restaurant. We will visit the Temple of Hadrian, the Roman Baths, the Library, the Odeon, the Theater, etc. Continuation to visit the House of the Virgin Mary. In the afternoon, visit to a leather workshop where we can see the famous fabrics of the Aegean region. Transfer to the Izmir Area. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay at a hotel in the Izmir Area.
IZMIR AREA – BURSA – ISTANBUL. (BREAKFAST)
Breakfast at the hotel. Bus transfer to Bursa. Arrival in Bursa and visit to the Green Mosque or Yeşil Camii, built in 1419 by Mehmet I Çelebi. Next to the mosque, we find the Green Mausoleum; it is possibly the most beautiful building in all of Bursa. Bus transfer to Istanbul. Overnight stay at a hotel in Istanbul.
ISTANBUL. (BREAKFAST)
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning departure to visit the Rüstem Pasha Mosque. Next, we will do one of the most famous activities in Istanbul, a boat tour along the Bosphorus, the channel separating Europe and Asia. During this journey, you can appreciate the Sultans' palaces, ancient and typical wooden houses, and enjoy history in a different way. We will end our day with one of the star visits, the Spice Bazaar, established by the Ottomans 5 centuries ago and used ever since. We will enjoy free time. End of the visit at the Egyptian Bazaar.
ISTANBUL - CITY OF ORIGIN. (BREAKFAST)
Breakfast at the hotel. At the scheduled time, transfer to the airport. End of services.

- For itineraries that include domestic flights, once the booking is confirmed, canceling the plane tickets will incur a 100% charge per trip.
