Historic Cairo: National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, the Citadel, Coptic Cairo, and Khan El-Khalili

Discover the different facets of Cairo on a day dedicated to its history, religion, and culture. We will visit the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, the Citadel of Saladin and the Mosque of Muhammad Ali, and the Coptic quarter, and we will end at the famous Khan el-Khalili bazaar. Lunch at a local restaurant.

Approximate duration: 8 hours. Language: Spanish. Type: Cultural and historical tour. The first stop will be the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, where we will learn about Egypt's evolution from ancient times to more recent eras. We will continue to the Citadel of Saladine, one of Cairo's most prominent historical sites, and visit the Mosque of Muhammad Ali, known for its architecture and views over the city. Afterward, we will head to the old Coptic quarter, where we will wander through its streets and explore some of its main historical sites. We will conclude the day at Khan el-Khalili, one of Cairo's most famous markets, where you will have free time to stroll, shop for souvenirs, and soak up the local atmosphere.
